Muffle Furnace is a high temperature heating furnace designed for laboratory and industrial applications such as material testing, heat treatment, ash content testing, and volatile matter analysis. This improved model comes with ceramic fibre wool insulation instead of traditional brick insulation, which reduces overall weight and size and improves heating efficiency.
Due to ceramic fibre insulation, the furnace weight becomes nearly 1/4 and the size reduces by around 30% compared to brick insulated furnaces. It provides faster heat-up time, very low heat loss, and better power saving performance.
The furnace includes a built-in vent port for safe removal of noxious gases and fumes. It also supports connecting an extension pipe for volatile matter analysis. The vent lid is designed to be air-tight for accurate and safe operation.
The outer body is fabricated from thick cold rolled mild steel sheets, rectangular in shape, and placed horizontally with front opening. The inner chamber consists of a refractory muffle of required size, surrounded by ceramic fibre blankets on all four sides and rear to minimize heat loss.
The chamber is fitted with a single front door having 100mm thick ceramic fibre insulation, mounted on heavy-duty hinges and secured with a strong latch for safe sealing.

Laboratory Oil Bath is designed for safe and accurate heating of flasks and reaction vessels at higher temperatures.
